Shipping and Delivery

We are delighted to offer nationwide delivery of our products in Australia, provided that you possess a mainland Australia or Tasmanian residence. Haven Design Interiors will not dispatch merchandise to PO box addresses or remote islands. If your residence is situated on a remote island, please get in touch with us before placing an order so that we can provide you with a customised delivery quote. At Haven Design Interiors, we utilise reputable courier services to ensure that your product arrives in pristine condition. We will reach out to you to arrange a mutually agreed-upon delivery date, and the delivery will be completed at your front entrance (ground level only) or loading dock (for multi-story buildings). Unfortunately, we are unable to make deliveries to underground parking facilities as our trucks are unable to navigate them. Deliveries are scheduled between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM on your designated business day. For deliveries outside of these hours, on public holidays, or on weekends, there may be an additional fee; please contact us at info@havendesigninteriors.com.au for more information.

Our standard delivery offer is based on a single courier/driver unloading packaged products and/or pallets to a driveway, loading dock, or other ground floor area (as nominated by you) immediately adjacent to the delivery vehicle.  The delivery of our products does not include delivery upstairs or elevators, placement of items in your home, any assembly or rubbish removal.

As part of our standard delivery service, customers are expected to provide assistance to the driver for handling large items. If you are unable or unwilling to offer such assistance, please get in touch with us at info@havendesigninteriors.com.au before proceeding with your order. We can make arrangements to provide assistance for you, subject to an additional charge.

 

Please note that additional charges will apply if:

  1. You are not available to receive the products on the agreed day and redelivery is required
  2. Waiting and/or delivery time at your point of delivery exceeds 10 minutes (we get charged detention by our couriers if they have to wait) This may include any time taken to deliver the furniture to your nominated delivery point (aside from ground floor deliveries, adjacent to the delivery vehicle)
  3. Additional staff are required to assist in delivering the product to your nominated location
  4. You change your nominated delivery address after the order has been despatched

IMPORTANT: IF YOU HAVE ASKED US TO LEAVE YOUR ITEMS UNATTENDED AT YOUR NOMINATED POINT OF DELIVERY, YOU ACCEPT FULL LIABILITY FOR ANY THEFT OR DAMAGE TO PRODUCTS.

VIC: 4-10 working days      
NSW: 6-18 working days   
QLD: 7-15 working days  
SA: 5-14 working days 
WA: 9-24 working days                  
ACT: 4-10 working days         
NT: 9-24 working days     
TAS: 9-18 working days

 

Delays in Transit:

Occasional transit delays, while uncommon, can occur despite our diligent efforts to collaborate with our carriers and provide exceptional service. These delays may arise due to circumstances beyond our control. In the event of such a delay, we will make every effort to minimise any inconvenience to you. However, it's important to understand that we cannot be held accountable for these unforeseen delays. 

Please be aware that if you decide to cancel an order or decline delivery after it has already been dispatched, Haven Design Interiors reserves the right to deduct from any refund the expenses associated with both outbound and return shipping, along with a 20% restocking fee to cover warehouse and logistics costs.

Otherwise, you are welcome to pick up your purchase from our showroom/warehouse at 30 Shearson Crescent, Mentone 3194 Victoria.  Prior notification will be required to ensure your products are ready for you when you arrive.
